Have you ever experienced that nagging sensation of having an idea or thought that you think could be of value but not exactly knowing how or where to share it? Well, welcome to my space for putting down those ideas, those thoughts and sharing them with you.
I’ve gone back and forth on the notion of starting this platform, yet here we are. I could constantly debate about when will be “the right time”, and the truth is that there’s no better time than now.
I want to use this space to talk about the things that I really care about. I have a background in orchestral music, and I care a lot about the future of our orchestras – not only here in Australia but around the world.
Our world is changing at an unprecedented pace and it feels like the mighty monolith that is the orchestra takes that extra amount of time to shift its course. How long is too long though for some of our orchestras?
There are some orchestras out there bucking the trends, and they’ve got me thinking. And, I want to share that thinking with you.
