Kane Moroney is passionate about shaping the future of the arts through sustainable strategies and long-term thinking. With a keen eye on the evolving global and technological landscape, he explores how arts organisations can adapt, thrive, and remain relevant in an ever-changing world. Kane is deeply invested in organisational culture, believing that by fostering an inspiring environment for artists and colleagues, the arts can flourish even in challenging times.

A strong advocate for design-led thinking, Kane sees design as a vital tool for innovation in both business and society. By applying a designer’s mindset, he believes we can uncover creative solutions to complex challenges. His commitment to impact-driven work led him to design and implement iDrive, a transformative learner-driver program in Adelaide’s southern suburbs.

Throughout his career, Kane has held roles spanning marketing, development, community capacity building, and business ownership. He holds a Bachelor of Music, completed across the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and a Certificate in Applied Design from the University of Tasmania.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Kane is dedicated to lifelong learning and creative exploration. Whether he’s championing others to pursue their passions, reading the latest queer fiction, pushing himself on the treadmill, or experimenting with digital art as an amateur illustrator, he approaches everything with curiosity and enthusiasm.
